Mulia is an architecturally designed, two storey, north east-facing home. Designed by Gold Coast’s own Adam Beck from BDA Architecture this property maximises the exquisite viewpoint. Mulia includes 3 bedrooms, a study, 2 x livings, a cinema, and a complete separate wing with external access.
From the street, Mulia has stunning appeal with its stone feature wall, timber eaves and overflowing second storey garden. Once you enter the residence it is apparent that the emphasis for the home was the viewpoint. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge areas blend to the back exterior entertaining area, which over-looks a stunning Gold Coast canal and infinity pool with spa, giving an expansive feel to the entire space. The kitchen is light and fresh with a working scullery and decorative wine display. Within the kitchen is a ‘Hub at Home’ for console charging within the drawer, designed to keep the bench free from clutter. Off the main living area is also an open courtyard, an addition to the ‘light’ feel as the sun spills in throughout the day as it moves across the sky. This living area includes a custom stone fireplace creating warmth within this vast space.
Mulia’s innovation is with automation across the whole property. Everything is seamlessly linked and controlled from the palm of your hand. The surround sound connects every room including the outdoor dining and lawn!
The clients made Mulia, as a project, a thoroughly enjoyable build. However, it did come with its challenges as the owner lived right next door to the property. Although the relationship between them has always been great everything needs to be explained thoroughly to the client and made sure it is 100 percent as their eye was always watching and questioning.
Mulia illuminates and truly meets the initial brief in all aspects, and it is hard to look past the detail in the finishes, a signature of Clamroc Constructions.
